Green Valley United Methodist Church

The UMSM Family Food Pantry provides food, hygiene, infant care items and referrals for additional resources to those in need.

The UMSM program helps singles and families with food items, six times within a twelve month period.  This program is the only  available resource to families in the Las Vegas area on weekends.  UMSM supplies enough food for three meals for three days per person.

On the 4^th Saturday of each month, our church provides volunteers at the two UMSM locations. If you are interested in helping with this ministry on the 4^th Saturday, please contact the church office or for any other date please call UMSM (733-0053) in advance. 

To Donate:

Items are collected during the 5th Sunday food drive by placing the donation by the parked car. The packages are collected by the Men of Faith and taken to the mission facility. You can also donate directly to the ministry.

Additionally, when donations are given to Goodwill at a donation site that is a store, if you ask that the donation be credited to United Methodist Social Ministries, UMSM will receive credit towards vouchers they can give to their clients to use at a Goodwill store.

• Current Nevada Photo Identification
• Social Security cards for each family member
• Proof of residence (lease agreement, rent receipt, or a current bill which shows your address)
