UMCOR In Service to Mankind

Natural disasters are a fact of life. Hurricanes, earthquakes, fire, flooding, and tornadoes happen regularly and it is up to us, as Christ’s hands to a hurting world, to assist the victims. Like military preparedness, it is critical to be pre-positioned with ready supplies so that a quick response can be initiated. To that end, the United Methodist Church has recently established a second warehouse in Salt Lake City to address natural disasters in the western United States and in the Pacific rim countries. 

Green Valley United Methodist Church is reaching out in mission to be part of that
preparedness effort. Donations of kit supplies and money toward supplies are continually accepted.  In addition, work teams from the church travel to Salt Lake City to assist in preparing kits to be used in emergencies. View the Contents for Health Kits, Cleaning Kits, School Kits and more.
